The separable verbs can have the preposition before or after the object --

How do officers keep up the morale of their soldiers?

Keep this side of the box up.
Keep up this side of the box.
বাক্সের এই দিকটি উপরে রাখুন।
If the object is a pronoun, the preposition must go after it. --
They keep it up.
তারা এটা বজায় রাখে।
In the inseparable verbs the preposition is stuck to the verb --
He looks after his mother.
সে তার মায়ের দেখাশোনা করে।
He looks after her.
সে তার দেখাশোনা করে।
